This disposable chip is designed to perform well when it is placed on the runner’s shoe. It uses a Tyvek strap that fits into the laces of the shoe. The I-Chip can be read at speeds up to 20mph at distances up to 10 feet. It has a thin polymer label that will provide some protection from damage, but this chip is not meant to be submerged or used around water.
